Terra Firme/Terra Frágil comprises a series of paintings by Elizabeth Casqueiro that addresses the transformational place at the intersection of the built environment, nature, and the self. At a time of intense global migration, both voluntary and involuntary, survival and thriving involve the ability to carry within us the lessons and memories of the grounding places that shaped who we are.
